What does a website cost?
Our pricing structure starts with a standard cost to create seven pages. It includes everything listed in the standard inclusions in all Woodswork hosted websites.
Beyond that, there is the option to add more elements or extra inclusions like a shop. These include adding additional functionality or extra design time to make your site sing for your business. They may also include preparing content for your website, such as writing copy and on-page SEO implementation and backlinking so that your website is Google-friendly.
Website edits after your web project is live
Once your project is live, we will provide training tutorials that you can use to learn how to edit your site.
Our pricing structure depends on the Woodswork Web services you choose.

Starting a website project
Once you are happy with your inclusion choices, the price is set. Any changes you decide to make to the scope of your project may incur additional costs, but we will always inform you of any extra costs to your wish list and get your approval to carry out the work before doing so.
Our web design options are generally from $2000 to $4000. We’ll need to know more about your project before giving you a firm figure. We have three project options: Premium Custom, Custom and Predesigned. The predesigned options are an affordable, cost-effective starting point when a custom build isn’t required. We also have options for website hosting and maintenance for you too.

Pricing options for hosting and maintenance
Regular maintenance enables your website to operate at an optimal level, and the necessary level of service varies on the type of website and frequency of changes made.
*Hosting is paid 6 months in advance. In a new build, 50% in each of the Phase 1 & 2 invoices. Alternatively, you can arrange a monthly automatic payment beginning from the start of the build, not the live date.
In an inherited website, hosting is paid in advance of the website transfer. Website transfer may incur costs.

Pricing options for website edits
Not only do we edit sites we build and host, we also edit sites we inherit and we even edit sites hosted elsewhere. The costs vary and are outlined below.
We reward maintenance clients with lower editing costs. We also provide priority support to these clients and their requests are on the top of our list.
Edits on our Divi theme
using Woodswork Host Maintained
$90/hour +gst

Onsite Divi training is available on request @$180/hour +gst with a minimum of one hour plus travel time.
Our FREE Training Tutorials are available for use 24/7 and we are happy to add to these for you at no charge.
Urgent requests after the hours of 8am-5pm Monday to Friday may be charged at double the standard rate of the service required.
Public holiday requests are charged at triple standard rates.
Our developer rate for our maintained clients is $180/hour +gst
All other developer work is from $190/hour +gst.
Graphic design rates vary and start at $120/hour +gst.
Affordable websites Auckland wide and beyond
At Woodswork Design, we only charge for what you choose to include on your website and nothing you don’t. If you don’t need a gallery, we don’t think you should have to pay for one. This way of working means we can create the affordable websites Auckland customers (and beyond) request.
If we can build websites with many variables, it stands to reason that every client’s price will probably be different. As a result, the cost of your website will depend on the variables, such as the number of pages you require or whether you need a shop to sell your products. To clarify your website requirements, we get together with you and discuss your needs, either in person by phone or via Zoom.
Together, we will work through some questions to help establish your site requirements. We decide on the functionality you think you need, and we may make a few suggestions you may not have imagined. Then, and only then, we can give you an accurate quote.
