What does a website cost?
Our website pricing structure for affordable websites in Auckland begins with a standard cost to create seven pages. This package includes everything detailed in the standard inclusions for all Woodswork Web hosted websites.
In addition to these features, you can opt for extras like an e-commerce store or additional functionalities such as a project gallery to enhance your site.
The website pricing options also entail us preparing content for your website, which includes writing engaging copy, implementing on-page SEO, and creating a linking strategy to ensure your site is Google-friendly. If you prefer to handle content creation on your own, we can offer pricing tailored to that choice.

Website edits after your web project is live
Once your project is live, we will provide training tutorials that you can use to learn how to edit your site.
Our edit pricing structure depends on the Woodswork Web care plan you choose.

Starting a website project
Once you are happy with your inclusion choices, the price is agreed. Any changes you decide to make to the scope of your project may incur additional costs, but we will always inform you of any extra costs to your wish list and get your approval to carry out the work before doing so.
Our web design options are generally from $3000 to $7000. We’ll need to know more about your project before giving you a firm figure. We have several project options: Mini, Small, Medium and Mega. The Mini site, a predesigned 1-page option is an affordable, cost-effective starting point when a custom build isn’t in your scope. We also have options for website maintenance care plans for you too.

What is a WordPress Care Plan?
A WordPress Care Plan includes a range of services to mitigate the risk of your website being compromised and ensure the website is operating properly.
Can I do the WordPress Updates myself?
No. To maintain the security and integrity of websites under our Care Plans, administrator access is not provided. This helps protect your website from security risks, while allowing us to manage updates, monitoring, backups and ongoing maintenance as part of a fully managed service. If you have a specific requirement, please contact us to discuss the most appropriate level of access.
Can you guarantee my site won’t be hacked?
Can you guarantee my site won’t be hacked? No, we can’t. While we implement many elements to mitigate the risk of being hacked, there are things that are outside of our control that can impact your website. A WordPress Care Plan is also about ensuring that should the site get compromised, it can quickly be reinstated.
Can I become a Care Plan client if my website was not built by Woodswork Web?
Yes. Even if your website wasn’t built by Woodswork Web, in most cases we’ve got you covered. Our Care Plan Website audit enables our team to thoroughly assess your current website to create a Care Plan for your needs.
Pricing options for website edits
Not only do we edit sites we build and host, we also edit sites we inherit and we even edit sites hosted elsewhere. The costs vary and are outlined below.
We reward Essentials Care Plan clients with lower editing costs. We also provide priority support to these clients and their requests are on the top of our list.

Onsite Divi training is available on request @$180/hour +gst with a minimum of one hour plus travel time.
Our FREE Training Tutorials are available for use 24/7. Custom+ and Essential Care clients can request extra tutorials at no extra charge.
Out of Hours & Urgent Requests
Requests after the hours of 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday or urgent requests may incur a rush rate. This is generally charged at double the rate of the service required .
Public holiday requests are charged at triple standard rates.
Developer & Graphic rates
Our developer rate for our Essential Care clients is $150/hour +gst.
All other developer work is from $180/hour +gst.
Graphic design rates vary and start at $180/hour +gst.
Rush rate is $280/hour and may apply on tight deadlines.
